Edward Hopper - A Woman in the Sun

The above image is of the painting by Edward Hopper - A Woman in the Sun (1961). It boasts a nude woman standing within the sunlight, looking out a window. She appears to have gotten out of bed, and is now smoking. The hillsides from the woman's adjacent window display her location.

In my research, Edward Hopper uses this painting to explore the exterior from an interior perspective. It is almost like a hypothetical sense of self discovery.
